As you may know, I have actually got to the point of boring myself with the endless Qatar sales that have been on recently. Qatar has had to battle for business as the blockade by neighbouring Arab countries continues. However, this sale was too good not to mention. There are some genuine bargains that we have not seen for a long time.
As usual, the bargains are all Ex Eu. If you haven’t considered this before you can read my beginners guide here. Remember you can earn tier points and Avios with Qatar too. As flights are indirect to everywhere other than Qatar, you will get more tier points and Avios than flying direct with BA. If you decide to take this option you should consider the following: time and price to get to the starting point, aircraft type from starting point and tier points. Some of the Eastern Europe destinations use smaller aircraft and give fewer tier points.
