SALE: British Airways Club World from £1099 + fly First for just £200 extra each way

British Airways ‘Make 2018 a year to remember’ sale has now launched and there are some good deals to be had. The main item of interest is their First class for just £200 more each-way than a business class (Club World) booking. The offer is available on all routes to North America except Los Angeles. The prices have already been reduced to reflect this so just select First as the class of booking. You could, of course,  just fly one way First Class as I often don’t bother on a night flight if I will just be sleeping anyway. This would mean you could get New York for £1584 with one way First and the other Club World.

Tomorrow I will be looking at the Finnair and Virgin ex EU sales which offers some cheaper prices to Asia than BA but obviously, they aren’t direct.

The ba.com sale offers are will be available until midnight on 30 January 2018 but as usual, the bargains will go quickly. Even if you only want flights it is worth looking at what adding car hire or a hotel will do to the booking as often the best bargains are on BA holidays bookings which also get bonus Avios.

All sale flights are non-refundable. Flights booked in Club Europe, Club World and First are changeable for a £150 fee (plus any additional fare for changes). The travel dates for the sale vary by destination but many are well into 2018.

There are plenty of Club Europe flights to be found under the £250 mark. If you need tier points Luxemburg is one of the best options and you would get to try the new Qantas lounge and Cathay Pacific lounges since they depart from Heathrow T3. Luxembourg is very pretty for a short break as you can see above. However, some of the destinations have a minimum stay requirement to get the cheapest price. Prices are per person return.
