I wrote about Kaligo in this earlier article. Kaligo offer the same large selection and similar rates for hotels you get elsewhere on the web. In addition you earn miles or points for a range of airline programs including British Airways, Avios, Qatar, Singapore Airlines, Flying Blue and Virgin Atlantic. It’s a bit like a hotel only version of Avios eStore but you can earn with lots of airline loyalty schemes. You can book via their website or their app. 
It’s completely free to create an account. When you search for hotels, you choose your preferred loyalty program for earning points. The website then shows you exactly how many points or miles each booking earns. The miles or points are automatically credited into the program you’ve chosen after your booking, but it can take up to 6 weeks. Read the terms of the hotels carefully before booking, as most are non refundable.
In addition to the promotion in conjunction with BA Executive Club, there is now a lower spend sign-up bonus. This is valid for other airline schemes as well as BA.
If you need some Avios, it often works out far better value to simply book a hotel through Kaligo than to buy them, if you need a hotel anyway.

BA Kaligo promotion – up to 10,000 Avios
You can earn 10,000 bonus Avios when you spend £1,000 or 5,000 bonus Avios when you spend between £500 – £999.99. You don’t have to spend it all in one go, as long as you reach the target spend by the deadline. That’s as well as the usual 5-20 Avios you get for every £1 spent. You can, of course, get even more if you use a BA or Lloyds Avios credit card when booking. Prices are generally similar to the big hotel booking sites but you can’t get cashback, of course.
