2,000 Avios bonus with Avis
There is a new offer for an extra bonus when you rent a car with Avis by 16 March to drive by 31 August 2024 and collect up to 2,000 bonus Avios. Rentals must be booked on ba.com, carhire-ba.com or with the BA call centre. I usually find that booking Avis throigh BA is cheaper than booking direct with Avios, often substantially so.
You get:
- 500 bonus Avios for 3-6 day rentals
- 1,000 bonus Avios for 7-13 day rentals
- 2,000 bonus Avios for 14+ day rentals
This is in addition to the standard award of 5 Avios per £1 spent on qualifying rentals.

Double Heathrow Rewards Points
Heathrow Rewards members will receive double points, up to a maximum of 5,000 Heathrow Rewards points, on fashion purchases at selected stores from 9 February until 29 February 2024. Heathrow Rewards is the loyalty program of Heathrow and allows you to convert points into vouchers for shopping or car parking. You can earn points on almost everything at Heathrow, including parking and Heathrow Express, so it is worth joining if you visit regularly. You can learn more in this article.
• Spend £250 or more and get double points, up to a maximum of 5,000 points, at: Accessorize, Aspinal of London, Boggi Milano, Case, Harrods Fashion, Hugo Boss, JD Sports, Kurt Geiger, Lacoste, Ray Ban, Reiss, Smythson, Sunglass Hut, Superdry, and Ted Baker.
• Spend £850 or more and get double points, up to a maximum of 5,000 points, at: Burberry, Orlebar Brown, Paul Smith, and Valentino.
• Spend £1500 or more and get double points, up to a maximum of 5,000 points, at: Bottega Veneta, Dior, Fendi, Moncler, Mulberry, Prada, and Saint Laurent.
Double Virgin Points on Trains
The rail ticketing app Virgin Trains Ticketing is offering customers the chance to earn double points on their train travel for a limited time only. Travellers that book train tickets through the app between 19 – 25 February 2024, for travel on any date, will earn six Virgin Points (instead of three) for every £1 spent.
It’s a good way to earn a few points quickly, as points are credited within seven days of your travel date.
You can earn Virgin Points on train tickets for any train to anywhere in Great Britain and can also take advantage of split ticketing to save money.
Free night at Conrad Algarve
