Limited Time: Avios Doubles the Value of PizzaExpress Vouchers
This August, you can get double value when redeeming Avios for PizzaExpress vouchers. 1,000 Avios is now redeemable for a £10 voucher (usually £5) which works out at 1p per Avios, compared with the usual rate of 0.5p.
Vouchers start from 1,000 Avios and are valid for six months from the date of issue, so you can redeem now and use your voucher into January, depending on the date you purchase.
To make it even better, for the rest of this month, you can use your vouchers alongside PizzaExpress offers. You’ll also earn 3 Avios per £1 on the remaining cash portion of your bill after vouchers have been applied, as long as you’re using a card registered with Avios.com.
While flights in premium cabins and at peak times are nearly always the best use of Avios, 1p per Avios is pretty good going for a voucher redemption and well-worth considering if you’re planning to visit Pizza Express.
Keep in mind that a small number of UK branches are not eligible for earning and redeeming Avios, such as the Gatwick Airport restaurant, live music venues and a few other niche venues.
Earn Qatar Avios with Turo
You can now earn Qatar Avios with car-sharing marketplace Turo on bookings in the UK, France, the US, Canada and Australia.
With Turo, you can book a wide range of vehicles via local hosts. Think about it like an Airbnb-type platform for cars. Keep in mind that additional drivers and airport collection can work very differently to conventional car hire options.
The Avios earning rate depends on your Qatar Privilege Club status, and you’ll earn on the entire rental, including taxes and fees.
Link your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account to your Turo account and make sure your membership number is included in your booking details.
Qatar Avios can easily be transferred to The British Airways Club. From there, you can also move Avios between programmes such as AerClub, Iberia Club and Finnair Plus. Alternatively, you can keep them with Qatar Airways Privilege Club and use them towards reward flights with Qatar Airways and other airline partners.
This is a useful new earning option, particularly if you have status with Qatar. Remember, there are a range of other hire car companies you can earn Avios with via the Qatar Privilege Club or Avios.com.
There’s also a Turo AMEX offer at the moment on targeted cards of 20% cashback on your next rental by 21st December 2026. Just make sure you save the offer to your card before spending. You can get a maximum of £200 cashback, so the best savings would come with spending £1,000.

Save 15% on IHG Reward Nights at New and Revamped Hotels.
One of the lesser-known benefits of the IHG One Rewards programme is the 15% discount on selected new and refurbished hotels. This generally applies up to six months of opening at participating hotels.
With hotels opening and reopening all the time, the list is ever-changing, and there are some excellent bargains available. For example, a Reward Night normally costing 40,000 points would be reduced to 34,000 points, saving 6,000 points per night. For a week’s stay, this would save 42,000 points.
Keep in mind that some hotels on the list have reopened after changing brands and being renovated, so you’re not always getting a stay at a brand new hotel. You can see whether the hotel is new or new to IHG when looking at the icon on the hotel image.
