OFFERS: New Hilton earn bonus, 50% Bonus converting Miles to Accor points and Marriott 40,000 Bonus Points

New Hilton 1000 point earn bonus

A new Hilton bonus has been launched for the summer months, which gives a straight 1000 bonus points per stay. I’d say this is pretty weak for anyone other than those who do one-night stays at the more budget Hilton brand hotels. Compared to previous bonuses, it is not great as before they have offered per-night bonuses or up to 2000 points per night.

It’s only for stays from 1 June to 15 August so hopefully they come back with a better offer for the autumn.

As usual, you will need to register for the offer before your stay, but it does apply to nights already booked for the future as long as you register.

You can find the registration page here.

50% Bonus converting Miles to Accor points – worth it?

Accor has launched a new promotion with 50% bonus on transferring airline miles to points. Generally, this does not offer great value, even with the bonus, particularly as Accor points are worth a straight €20 per 1000 points. However, if you have a small number of miles that can’t be used to offset a flight before they expire, it could be worth considering. However, for those schemes with Avios, it is very easy to transfer between airline schemes and also to buy something online to earn Avios and keep them from expiring.

How does it work?

1. Log in to your partner account
2. Convert your Miles to Accor Reward Points
3. Automatically receive +50% bonus points

Here are the participating partners and rates:

  • QATAR AIRWAYS 4,500 Avios = 1500 Reward points (instead of regular 1000)
  • FINNAIR 2,300 Avios = 750 Reward points (instead of regular 500)
  • AEGEAN 2,000 Miles = 750 Reward points (instead of regular 500)
  • ITA AIRWAYS 4,000 Volare points = 1,500 Reward points (instead of regular 1000)

You can find the offer page here.

Marriott 40,000 Bonus Points with Homes and Villas by Marriott

Homes and Villas by Marriott often provide a great way to earn a lot of bonus points quickly. However, it is worth pointing out that the accommodation is similar to booking through something like Air BnB or Booking.com, where the owners are individual and standards can vary.

The latest offer for 40,000 bonus points is available for booking until 11 May for stays from 1 June 2025 to 4 January 2026. There are several stipulations; that it must be a stay of two nights or more and you must spend a minimum of $1,500. You also need to actually hold status with Marriott, ie Marriott Bonvoy Members who hold Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium or Ambassador Elite status at time of booking.

This could work well if you wanted to book a villa holiday as it can be in any currency as long as it meets the equivalent spend in Dollars.

You need to register in advance via the page linked below.

You can find the offer page here.
